MPW Novels LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates mpwnovels.com and related sites and stores (the "Site"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We are a United States business located in Wisconsin. The Site is intended for visitors and customers in the United States.

1. Information you give us

• Order information. When you buy something, we collect your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, phone number (if provided), the items you ordered, and order notes.
• Payment information. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors, [Stripe and Amazon Pay]. We do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive a confirmation of payment, the last four digits of the card, the card type, and the billing name and address.
• Email list signups. When you join our mailing list, enter a giveaway, or download a free book, we collect your name (optional) and email address.
• Correspondence. If you email us, use a contact form, or leave a comment or review, we keep what you send and our reply.
• Account information. If you create a Site account, we store your username, email address, and saved addresses.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site we automatically collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time and date of visit, and similar log information.

We and our providers also use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. These include:

• Essential cookies that run the shopping cart, keep you logged in, and secure the checkout. The Site does not work properly without them.
• Analytics that tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they came from. We use Google Analytics.
• Advertising and conversion tracking from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest, and Amazon, which lets us measure whether an ad led to a purchase and show ads to people who have visited the Site.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and deliver digital books;
• send order confirmations, shipping notices, and customer service replies;
• send marketing email about new releases, sales, and events, if you have signed up;
• prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, and chargebacks;
• understand how the Site is used and improve it;
• measure and target our advertising; and
• meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Email and your right to unsubscribe

Marketing email goes only to people who have asked for it. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribes promptly. You may also email us at info @ MPWnovels.com to be removed.

We will still send transactional messages about an order you placed (receipts, shipping updates, delivery problems) even if you have unsubscribed from marketing, because those messages are part of completing your purchase.

We periodically remove addresses that bounce or stop engaging.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who need it to run the business:

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process; to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others; to investigate fraud; or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of the business.

Some advertising and analytics practices described in Section 2 may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws because tracking data is transmitted to advertising platforms. You may opt out as described in Section 6.

6. Your choices and rights

Regardless of where you live, you may email info @ MPWNovels.com to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it;
• ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep for tax, accounting, and fraud purposes, typically orders for seven years);
• unsubscribe from marketing email; or
• ask us not to share your information with advertising platforms.

We will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Residents of California and other states with consumer privacy laws may have additional statutory rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. To exercise any of them, email info @ MPWnovels.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity, usually by confirming the email address associated with your orders.

Browser-level controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org, and in the ad settings of Meta, Google, Pinterest, and Amazon. Blocking essential cookies will break checkout.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control browser signals.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info @ mpwnovels.com and we will delete it.

8. Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the order and then for seven years for tax and accounting purposes. We keep mailing list records until you unsubscribe or we remove you as inactive. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then rotated out.

9. Security

We use SSL/TLS encryption on the Site, restrict administrative access, and keep our software patched. Card data is handled by PCI-compliant payment processors and does not touch our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Visitors outside the United States

The Site is operated in the United States and intended for United States customers. We do not market or sell directly to customers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws differ from those in your country.

11. Third-party links

The Site links to other websites, including retailers and social platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The revised version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted on the Site or by email.
