Deep Sleep started as a custom order for one of her regular clients — someone who’d tried everything else and come to Charlie as a last resort. Word got around, as it tends to in Redemption, and now it’s the second tin people grab when they’re restocking. Several of her clients have told Charlie they genuinely can’t get through the night without it. She takes that as high praise.
The formula is simple, thoughtful, and effective. Lavender and chamomile does the familiar work of quieting a busy mind. Valerian goes deeper, easing the kind of tension that lives in your shoulders and your jaw and doesn’t let go until something makes it. The other ingredients brings the whole thing together — gentle, steady, and reliable in a way that Charlie genuinely appreciates. Every ingredient earns its place.
Ingredients: Valerian root, honeybush tea, chamomile flowers, spearmint leaves, passion flowers, lemon balm, lavender, cherries, blue cornflowers
Steeping instructions: 1–2 teaspoons per 8 oz. Steep in water just off the boil (200°F / 93°C) for 7–10 minutes. Drink 30–45 minutes before bed. For best results, make it a ritual — same cup, same time, same quiet.

A note from Charlie: Valerian has a distinctive earthy scent that some people find strong. If it’s your first time, start with one teaspoon and adjust from there. The taste is milder than the smell suggests.
