Welcome to Redemption, Wisconsin …

A place where nothing is as it seems.

My name is Michele Pariza Wacek and I’ll be your tour guide to this strange and mysterious town.

First, tell me which side you prefer. Do you want the light, where you can enjoy our funny and twisty whodonit cozy mysteries?

Or, would your rather explore the dark, where who knows what lurks in the shadows?

Regardless of which you choose, you should know nearly all the books are all clean–no swearing, gore, sex and little violence. They also feature amateur female detectives (think female Sherlock Holmes).

(Mirror Image and The Stolen Twin are the only exceptions: The Stolen Twin has a little swearing and Mirror Image has more, plus a lot of other triggers.)

Next, if you choose the dark side, you’ll have more to explore the just Redemption. Just up the road is Riverview, Wisconsin, which has its own shadowy underbelly, hidden beneath a veneer of wholesome, Midwestern, college town.

You can learn more about Riverview here.

Lastly, all my books and series are intertwined. The main psychological thriller series is the Secrets of Redemption, which is where you first meet Charlie Kingsley. Charlie then branches off into her own cozy mystery series called The Charlie Kingsley Mysteries.

In addition, there’s another cozy mystery series, The Redemption Detective Agency, which is a spin-off from The Charlie Kingsley Mysteries, and another psychological thriller series, The Mysteries of Redemption, which is a spin-off from the Secrets of Redemption.

Here’s a graphic showing how all the series fit together, along with a map of Redemption and Riverview.

But, even though there are a lot of spin-offs and connections, you don’t have to start from the beginning with one series. Each series has its own entry point (or multiple entry points).

To get started, simply decide if you want to check out the light (cozy mysteries) or the dark (psychological thrillers) and make yourself comfortable.

Because once you decide to visit, you may discover how difficult it is to leave.
